Hello everyone,
I use owndata to get data into tradestation but I have only access to realtime data and I have to leave my computer running 24/7 in order to analyze information to make 1 trade. I need a solution that will push history data into tradestation using owndata so I don't have to leave my computer running all the time. This way I can avoid gaps in the data etc. and other problems associated with a solution like this.

It would be great if there was a DDE server that will just download history data and ensure the latest data was downloaded.

If anyone could render assistance with this solution I would greatly appreciate it

Regards

Here it is 22 months later and now I am hoping for the same solution. History guys, we need historical data so we can back test. I know FXCM has historical data-how do we get it into TradeStation 8.2 and/or 8.3?

The inability to feed live rates into TradeStation is a restriction placed on the TradeStation software by TradeStation securities.

The only way they allow third-party data to get into TradeStation is by loading a csv file (which obviously isn't real-time). Thus if you would like to do that, it is possible. However, for any real-time solution, the closest available is probably OwnData.
