HowTo: Metastock / Quotecenter with Order2Go & FXCM DDE?

hi peeps,

sorry for this question, but i don't get it.
i am not really into programming, but i need to get the fxcm feed and order function to work in metastock. at the moment i am using the reuters feed, but of course it differs from fxcm's esignal feed, which often is about a few pips. but because of this few pips my entrys won't get filled...


i have installed FX Order 2 Go an FXCM DDE Price Server.

I have opened a new demo account, since the price feed ddidtn seem to work with my live account (?)
i always get an invalid login information.

regarding order2go, i dont really get what to do.

hopefully, someone could help me.

Are you referring to market orders, or entry orders?

If they are market orders, what is the error message you are getting when they aren't filled?

Also, what software product are you using to execute these orders?

i don't even know how to get order 2 go to work, except than installing it...

at the moment i am just using the fxcm trading station for my orders.

i want to use metastock pro fx, newest version, for the trading and not only analyzing. same for the feed, but i guess metastock pro fx takes the feed frm the quotecenter database.

i am interested in MetaSTOCK, which I am using at the moment. But with reuters feed and NO broker to order using metastock pro fx!

We have APIs available that MetaStock would be able to use to incorporate our functionality into their software. If you would like this feature in MetaStock, please request it directly from them.
