You are able to obtain this information directly from MarketScope if you wish. It is restricted to retrieving 300 periods at a time, but has a history going back to 2001 for tick data which you can have complete access to. This may take some time with tick data, however.

You can specify an end date that you desire, such as 3 Feb 2007. Then in the bottom left corner you will see a button with 2 arrows "<<". If you click on this, it will obtain an additional 300 periods of data. Once you have a chart of all the data that you would like, you can click:
Plugins>Charts>View>Table View.

This will display a table of the chart data that you would be able to copy and paste to another application.

Opps, before read your post, I sent email to ask for historical data (4 years, one time read) to FXCM Hongkong. I do not expect much.

I have installed MarketScope at FX-Station, and must manually collect 300periods at a time:)

Thanks for reply

For EUR/USD 1-day-data takes around 19 minutes to manual-copy into XLS file. For 1-year data = 52week x 5day x 19min = 4940min --> 83hours :D

After seeing those 'beautiful' tick data, I decide to have it started from year 2001 till now, so my automatic system can predict price movement better. In order to achieve that goal, I must manual copy aroung 415days :eek: so my first year of FX trading is occupied by copying data :D

Assume: 20pairs x 6years x 83hours = 9960hours or 415 days

Hopefully, FXCM has those Tick data in ZIP form, so we just dowload and extract.:)
