Hello,

I am a user and not a programmer. I was directed to this forum from the help desk at FXCM.

I did not find any subject matter searching for Macintosh or Apple and hoped to open some dialog on this topic.

I am in the process of exploring a reliable charting program that operates on the Macintosh system. I realize that this will be a limitation compared to the PC’s but I am hoping to obtain some help from the expertise of members from this forum.

I appreciate any ideas and suggestions.

Many thanks,

Rhinoaa1

They fowarded you to this site because this site contains the Java Trading Station, http://www.fxprogrammers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15 . Since Java can be used in any platform, the Java Trading Station can be used on a Mac. Also if you are looking for charts, the best thing to do is go to DailyFX and look at the different type of Java charts that we have there.

Hi,

Thanks very much for the link and suggestions.

Do you have any timeline when FXCM will support their Java Trading Station? I know that Interactive Brokers fully support their multi platform Java Traders Work Station.

I will start a demo test of the Java Trading Station but it would nice to know when it will be supported by FXCM when it comes time for actual cash trades.

Many thanks,

We do have limited support through this forum, and have fixed many of the bugs that users have highlighted to us. We do not currently have a set timeline on when we plan on officially supporting the product. It depends on the product is accepted and used.

It currently can connect to any trading account (not read-onlys), demo or real, that the FX Trading Station II can connect to.
